How can I help you?
I handle the following types of Family Law Cases:
- Divorce- This occurs when you wish to dissolve your marriage.
- Paternity- When you and a girlfriend or significant other have a child or children together and you need to establish your parental rights or you are unfairly being targeted to pay an unconscionable amount of support.
- Post Judgment Matters:
A Post Judgment Matter usually arises in the following situations: IS YOUR EX TRYING TO MOVE AWAY WITH YOUR CHILD?
I cannot begin to imagine how excruciating it must be for you to have to live apart from your child. Many people think that the person with more custody automatically gets to move. That is not true.
I will fully advise you of your rights and obligations during this very turbulent time. You will have a complete understanding of the procedures one needs to follow if he/she wants to move away with the children. You will also know the complete and updated state of the law. You will also have a tenacious fighter on your side. ARE YOU STUCK PAYING TOO MUCH SPOUSAL SUPPORT?
Are you are getting tired of supporting your ex wife? You have been doing so for a number of years and she has not made any effort to become self supporting which is the policy underlying the law in this area. You may be earning less money. She may be earning more money or is living with a boyfriend or fiancé. In other words, circumstances have changed and your spousal support order is ripe for modification.
We will discuss all of your options. You may just discover that you should be paying less or none at all. CHILD CUSTODY AND CHILD SUPPORT.
Circumstances change throughout childhood and the current orders may not be in the child’s current best interest. Your ex may have remarried and your child is being ostracized in her house. Or, you may get the correct feeling that your ex likes the support check she receives from you but neglects your child.
Your ex may try to restrict your child from seeing you. Your child may have “birthday parties” or “family events” of course planned during your child’s time with you. You of course do not want an argument because you don’t want to end up in court so you give in. The next thing you know, you are back in Court and she is alleging you don’t see your child as much and that you should pay more in child support. To add insult to injury, she asks the court to order that you pay all of her attorneys’ fees and costs.
